Are you excited about being pregnant? Or do you wish you could turn back the clock and erase the pregnancy? However you fee about this pregnancy, you will be treated with compassion and respect as your consultant goes over your options with you. Our Registered Nurse is available to provide every woman who has a positive pregnancy test with a limited non-diagnostic ultrasound. One in four first pregnancies end naturally by miscarriage. Finding out if your pregnancy is viable is the logical first step. (Viability refers to whether or not the embryo or fetus has a detectable heartbeat. Though the heartbeat is typically present 18-21 days after conception, it is not usually detected until around 6 weeks of pregnancy. For women considering abortion, it is important to verify the viability of a pregnancy so they know whether or not an abortion is necessary.) There are very few places, here in the Dayton area, that are willing to provide you with a free ultrasound.
Our consultants provide helpful information about abortion procedures, the new adoption opportunities, as well as any pregnancy support services you might need including referrals to community resources.
