Took NextChoice but No Period Right Away Like with Plan B

I’ve taken an emergency contraception pill before, Plan B, and I got my period early, right after taking it. This was a few months ago.

I had another emergency, and took the generic Next Choice emergency contraception, which was a 2 pill process, but did not get my period right away this time.

Could this be due to the different brands, or could it mean it did not work?
